Season 2 News
- Holodyne CyberSystems is out! Driver Rexx Firestorm is "demanding
a completely unreasonable level of compensation for someone with such a primitive
and violent skillset," according to company officials. Rexx notes only
that the the prize money doesn't go to him. Unnamed source within Holodyne
have vowed to activate Rexx's primary clone, and compete this season "with
or without his permission." However, Gold Cross has confirmed that his
clone is still safely hibernating, and we can only surmise that company officials
are not entirely at ease with crossing Rexx's primitive violence.
- A clean slate for all! The balance sheets have been cleared, and the initial
budget has been reset to $150,000. This season promises to see more competition,
despite the lower budget.
- LoTek rules enforced. There is a limited selection
of weapons and equipment available for competition this season, though it
will be expanded as the season progresses.
- Referees hired! All duels this season will be refereed, and the referees
will check and record car designs and track all corporate finances as well.
- Car Designs released to public! All designs that place in a duel will be
made public. There are no restrictions on reusing designs, from your corporation
or another. However, we note that the public smiles on innovation.
